It's a 460 Ford bored and stroked to 513 CID. Dynoed at 550 hp @ 5800 rpm. Plenty of grunt to get this little car moving. :)

That should be quite a thrill in such a small platform. Looks like fun! Did you chassis dyno it?

Dave

Engine dyno only. I've only driven it up and down my rural road a few times. The State Patrol has to inspect it and give me their blessing so I can get a title for it. Should happen sometime next month.

And yes Craig, the tires don't stand a chance. :)

I don't know what my Lightning did on the engine dyno, but the chassis dyno run was 403hp at the rear wheels. Yours must be more than that and the Cobra weighs at least 1/2 as much as the Lightning. Very impressive!

I just stick to this one:

Not much for off roading but plenty of power and acceleration.

I've got one in Gray. Getting on the freeway it merges well with others. We're going to add a Ford Excursion to the fleet. I'd love to find a reasonable 7.3 diesel with less than 150,000 miles. Probably going to end up with a 03-05 V10 hopefully a 4x4.

Well, since yesterday ended it all for this year, I will welcome Fall and her weather! Here's my rides a 2006 F150 4x4 Super Crew, a 1992 Isuzu Pickup(my daily work driver for 60+ mile a day round trips) and me and my Daughter's tinkerin' toy, our 1972 flat front window, Macpherson strut Super Beetle road ready. The wife sports a 2012 Chevy Cruze and it has been a great car, too.

Nothing super cool, but variety is the spice of life!
