What are your favorite grips?

My eyes like wood grips but my arthritic hands like rubber.

Seems when you shoot that hog leg the hair would be pushed backwards from the roll up. Seems they should have been made with the hair going up.
I dont know about you but was always told .If you comb a cats hair backwards you'll get bit.

Not so. This line of grips was thoroughly feild tested. The direction of the hair keeps the gun from rolling up too far in your hand so you're ready for your next shot.

Also I have owned both kinds and can truly say Rubber are so much better. Like a GP100 or my Super Redhawk both similar grips with rosewood inserts very comfortable.

Not Dall or Bighorn. But definitely sheep. The rough set came to off facebook for cheap and Andy Horvath expertly fit them. I really like them on the round butt.

IF, I had a set, it would be factory Ruger Ivories. Since I don't have a set I have to play Ruger dressup with factory Stag and aftermarket Stags

But that doesn't mean I don't appreciate a nice set of wood grips on my revolvers especially Herretts on my Sixes.

Here is a pair of Rams Horn grip I made. I fitted them to his frame. Sorry I never got to see them on a whole gun. When dealing with rams horn, if you can get scales thick enough, you can sand off all the bark making a smooth set of grips that I think are really pretty.

My favorite were the carved ivory with rubies I that came with my 1901 Colt Bisley in 41 LC.

On my OM Blackhawk, I favor a pair of smooth moose antler by Executioner (Patrick Grashorn) that match my Yukon Skinner by Randall.
