Stainless main spring VS Blue main spring

I have 2 Stainless guns (1 Single 10 & 1 SBH ) and a couple of blued guns. I have noticed that the MAIN springs on the blued guns take less effort to cock and have a smoother feel than the Stainless guns. Has anyone else noticed this? thanks Jerry

Can't say for certain in these guns, but springs are generally made from spring steel and not stainless. Any differences you may feel have to do with how the parts fit together, and perhaps the tendency of stainless parts to feel "sticky" if they are not fitted and finished correctly.
