Stainless convertible value

Saw the stainless blackhawk convertible in .357/9mm on here in the classfield section. It is the gun that i have decided i want as my next firearm but all i usually see are the blued models since thats all they make really. The price he has listed is $579 shipped... Is the decent price for the stainless model of this gun??

If its a little high id pay a touch extra for the stainless model but if its crazy high id get a blued model and be just as happy with it.

I think that's a fair price, but then you have to throw in your FFL charge, which runs 20-30.

The 2 guys that are selling these here are not making a killing on these. YES THEY DO NEED TO MAKE SOMETHING. No gouging involved at all. They are very good prices. Reported to be aprox. 100 made of each length. I believe the 4 5/8th version has never been made before in this varation.

An idea the difference between the price of that and a newer blued one?

Yeah i will support a good honest person making a buck but Dont have a clue what these sell for so really just trying to decide if i wanna pay extra for what i really want.... Im counting pennies here so gotta be wise in my decsions.

The lowest current prices for the blue ones is about $510. Stainless prices in the 357/44 Special/45 Colt frame models usually run $90 higher.

I perceive that the $575+/- is reasonable.

I have an older blue model (4 5/8 barrel). The 9mm isn't as accurate as the 38/357. It is still fun to shoot though. The 9mm has very light recoil and you don't have to hunt around the range for your brass.

These guys selling these stainless convertibles are very fair.

Unless you have connections, you'd have difficulty finding one elsewhere, at any price.

So, these, well below full retail, are a bargain.

Cool guys thanks a lot... My ffl was sending his info today hopefully, but tomorrow at latest and then ill be sending the money.... Hopefully there is not an issue and i will be the proud owner of a new and beautiful blackhawk.


Im excited about it hope i dont wanna push my luck as i havent sent the money yet.
