SR9 long trigger pull

I ran a search here but couldn't find an answer.
My wife's SR9 has a reeeeeaallly long trigger pull. Is there an easy or affordable way shorten the pull length until it breaks?

Are you sure you don't mean the LC9 and not the SR9? The LC9 hammer version is known to have an extremely long pull. None of the SR's compact or not should have what you'd call a "really long pull."

Travel on the trigger is very similar to a Glock and the two I've tested break at only about 5-6 pounds.

No, it's an SR9. The break itself isn't too bad, it just take forever to get there.
