SR-556 Just how good is it?

Gun test magazine recently tested it and gave it great marks. I held the SIG and the Ruger. They are very close in size and weight. The FFL offered me the Ruger for $1300 plus tax and the SIG for $1900 plus tax. My preference was for the SIG but for what I want the 600 dollar difference was not worth it. I didn't buy it...yet but it is on my list.

I decided to just wait awhile on the 556. I will definately have one some day but for now there's just too many negatives being read to spend $1500 on.

I must be reading reviews on a different SR 556 because the only negative I have read is someone called it "overbuilt". That to me is why I buy Rugers in the first place.

Good gun, good price ($1359) as far as I can see ! 8)
