Folks purchased a threaded SR 22 to use with my tactical Solutions silencer and it makes a terrific combination. the neighborhood raccoon population will be seriously threatened. Need to add a light. Great little gun, my first step into "Plastic guns" . again great little outfit. Bob

I thought a threaded barrel SR22 was the answer UNTIL I looked at the barrel attachment. The little screw holding the barrel to the frame didn't give me much confidence. Looks to me like adding the leverage of even a small rimfire capable "can" might loosen the connection easily. I still have the SR22 but we added a 22/45 LITE threaded for the "other" purpose.

Weight? Hasn't affected the barrel screw on this pistol one bit.
