Spring and Detent

:roll: Well I let a spring and detent get away last night and after 2 hours of hunting I still have not found them. I was tired and should have left it alone. It's one out of the trigger group of my new to me Redhawk. Most of the time when I let something get away I find it or at least part of it. If I don't find it how hard is it going to be to get another?

Ruger will mail free. I received my last free parts in 3 days. I lost the base pin latch on a Super BH. Then the same part was burred on my .41 M Blackhawk.

I have had success using a magnet to find those pesky small parts.

I find the easiest way to find lost parts is to replace them. After you replace them you will more than likely find it. I lost a spring from a trigger group and Ruger sent me a new one no charge.

i haven't lost anything but i did nick my front sight on my lcr 9mm, called ruger and had a new one in 4 days free.

I forget where I got them but they are ziploc brand 2 1/2 gallon bags. Clear enough you can see through them for assembly and disassembly of flying parts.

I saw some even bigger for clothes storage a while back.
