Thank God! I wish S&W would follow suit and get rid of them. Notice how any pictures show the non lock profile of the gun. I had a S&W 642 that I had a gunsmith professionaly disable, but it cost me $60. If they were so proud of it, then why do they "hide" it in their nomenclature and pictures? I do NOT want a lock on my guns. They are either in the safe or loaded and ready to go....... :shock: I have since shifted my business to Ruger.
