I have an SP101 MC, 4.2 inch in 357. I really like the revolver, but I hate the Altamont wood grips. I have a set of Hogue rubber grips on it now, but I have a problem.
Unless I really put my mind into it, it shoots low. Yeah, thank you, I do know the sights are adjustable.
The little, round grips just allow the gun to rotate down in my hand and shoot low. I want something like the old Pachmayer Presentation square butt grips I had on my old Trooper.
I did get a Taiwan set of wood grips from Amazon, and it shot well for me but the redwood picnic table finish was too ugly even for me.
Does anybody know of a nice target grip for what is normally considered a small carry revolver?

With the 4" barrel, to me the gun is begging for a bit more of a square butt grip. Which I have not found.
Not really target grips but. These are the three I use. Good for you,,,, Can't say.
Hogue, Pachmayr (looks a lot like the wood MC grip) and Trausch.
I like the hard-to-find Trausch the most.
Like you I never got along with the Hogue finger groove rubber on the SP, but the wood seems to work much better.

That 2wood grip looks interesting. Thank you for posting.
I'm really looking for an old school square butt grip.
