Hi, all.
I've got a 2010 SP101 .38, and I noticed something about the relationship between the trigger and cylinder latch today.
With the trigger to the rear, the cylinder latch keeps the cylinder locked in place, just as it's supposed to. When the trigger is released, however, the cylinder latch very quickly drops back into the frame, then pops back up again. If I put a bit of pressure on the cylinder while this is happening, I can get the cylinder to rotate freely before the latch pops back up.
Is this normal behavior? My only othe DA revolver at the moment is my S&W 442, and I can't produce the same result with it. The cylinder latch stays up throughout the trigger reset.
