Boy Howdy, what a stupid thing I did today with my LCP. The family members are and have been getting my late Mom's house ready to put on the market. Last weekend I backed my new GMC truck into Mom's hidden tree stump, the truck has the latest and greatest cameras and avoidance system. But, but, the stump stopped the truck in it's tracks. Off to the body shop for $3K in repairs.
I was back over today doing some work for my Sister and I'm driving my Wife's foreign SUV. When I arrived I took my left front pocket wallet and my right pocket pocket LCP out and placed them over the closed sun visor, cell phone in the middle thingy in the center. I'm telling right now don't do this !!! I left the house and forgot about just where I'd had placed things. This was due to My loving Sister and all her instructions as to what I needed to do next and so on. It was like listening to her ask me what color the letter seven should smell like. Well at the second stop sign and take off the LCP fell out of the visor and hit me right in the center of my forehead, damn it man. It bounced off my hard head hit the console did a 360 and fell between the seat. I pulled over to get my head and rear-end together but this spot between the seat and console a normal person can't get to. Got back in the vehicle and noticed something running down my nose. Man oh man, my LCP had imprinted the perfect impression of the rear sights deep in the skin. In my truck I've got spots for all kind of pocket stuff to store while working on things away from home that aren't above eye level. I bet I won't do this again, getting old you've to stay on your toes with guns.
