Well I took my Ruger P-89 To the Gunshow & also sold all the extra parts & magazines here Christmas week & came up with exactly what I needed to score a ANIB Glock 26..
Don't hate me, I still have a Ruger MKII & 10/22, My favorite plinkers that get shot way more than any of the centerfire pistols I have..
A while back I picked up a Glock 17L & have been wanting to aquire a G26 to be my Bug when I'm not carrying my S&W M940

I figure that the new owner of the two tone P-89 would end up here on the forum asking questions about his RARE "Special Edition" Ruger P-89 with P-95 trigger..

AAARRRGGG !!!! HOW COULD YOU STAND TO DO IT? After it came out so sweet. I'm afraid that might be a trade you regret in the future. Oh well, congratulations on the new Glock..........I guess. :(

You should be cast out into the wilderness, at least for 30 days..

the 26 is at least not as ugly as the 17...
I'm still trying to figure out the function of that silly trigger guard. The first thing I'd do if you tied me down and tortured me into owning one of these once I got loose would be to take a file to that thing.

Actually it works pretty well with a two handed grip on that little gun. It can be a bit snappy with some hot ammo. To be honest ... I never even noticed the trigger guard before you mentioned it ....

Congrats on the G26. One of my favorite carry guns! Makes a great car gun too. Especially with a couple 33 round mags in the glovee. How did you end up on the P89 project? Hope you didnt have to raise to much more cash for the G26. Happy New year!

Nice Gen 2 17L BTW....I love the longslide Glocks! I stupidly pondered a 24 overnight a week ago. Went back to get it the next day and it had sold. My 17L will have to wait a little longer to meet its little older brother.

Beretta did you at least shoot it to function test before you sold it?

Yes I shot about 200 WWB threw it Christmas week & it functioned 100% & was quite accurate at the 35 yard bunker I was shooting from..

I guess this will be my last post for 30 days..

SEE YA!!
