Single Six 4" barrel

I've kinda been looking for a stainless Single Six Convertible with the short barrel. Seems they are hard to find. Plenty of the 5.5 and 6.5. Are they out there?

I just picked one up a couple of days ago. The dealer said they were a Lipseys exclusive.

I was also looking for one of these for sometime, but ended up switching gears and getting a convertible BN44X this spring. They are out there, but you gotta be patient and ready to jump.

Yep, I do have a few of these, and I would spare one if a feller needed it. But, after paying a premium, and shipping the guns to me, and paying background checks, then paying shipping again to mail it off, it is no longer a bargain.

These Williams and/or Lipsey's KNR4's do surface in batches. If a feller doesn't want to pay the price for a bird in the hand like mine, then he is bound to wait until one surfaces locally. Or find a good FFL dealer that is willing to do the legwork to get on a list for the next batch.

instead of having to pay too much for something that is scarce or possibly 'rare', I say cut down one of the longer ones, about the simplest and easiest of ANY custom work...................
buy the "deal" and make it what YOU want !!!

True that....'specialy when we're talking a stainless revolver that has a screw-attached front sight.

I'm planning to do that very thing (cut a 5 1/2" or 6 1/2" SS/SS down to 4 5/8", my favorite barrel length. Just looking for a deal on the base gun...
