well ive had my sr-22 for some time but finally getting around to getting set up...i put a center point 1x32 red dot that has done nicely, bottom rail, and as osprey grippod (should be here soon), but i want a single point sling on it.

How do i get the sling attachment ring on the stock? Is there a special wrench of some sort that i will need?

thanks for the help guys

Yes, you just need a standard AR-15 stock wrench... you can get one for $10 at any decent gun store (and lots of not so decent ones)

You will find two types, One will have 3 little points, and the other will only have one point. (you will understand when you see one) you want the one with 3 points...

something like this.... http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/ARR186-7.html

I tried a couple of singlepoint slings and didn't like them. They let the rifle flop around more than I care for. The two point with the rear hookup just in front of the top of the butt and the front hookup on the left side or on a slider around the fore end works better for me.
