I was working afternoon shift at the time and was going out for coffee when I heard that a plane hit a building in NYC. I thought it was maybe a sightseeing plane and turned the radio station to some music. I saw cars pulling over and flashing their lights and wondered what was going on. I walked into a dead silence in the diner where the TV was on just in time to see the second plane hit.... It was a surreal moment and at that time the world changed drastically for all of us....

Your pic reminded me of one of my ship leaving Coastal Drydock after an overhaul. This was late 83 early 84 I can’t recall exactly. Coastal was right up the East River and heading out to sea took us past downtown and the Statue of Liberty to open water. It was my first getting underway as a young sailor and saying goodbye for now to my home city. In the years after I did construction work in the towers and it hit me real hard in 2001 and it still does, I couldn’t watch more then about 15m this morning. I know several who were lost that day. RIP all.

The world is probably much better off that I was not president... from what I recall Belauden immediately came out that he and his were responsible and our intelligence knew where he was in the Afghan mountains within a few miles... I would have melted a good part of those mountains.

I hate to admit it but I had to ask Seri why flags were at half mask yesterday.

I may have slightly over-reacted that day. When the news came over the radio at work, I immediately called each of my kids and told them to begin gathering stuff to head home ASAP. At first, it appeared to be just the first of a wave of attacks.

I can't remember which brand of jukebox had the Twin Towers on them. They were on a mirrored background. It is something that when you see it now you remember with a little bit of sorrow at what our great nation has become

Okay, give him a break... I often feel the same way... just not to an extreme and I don't think they, who ever they are... albeit... the government or the media can keep anything secret for very long..... the problem with the media if they are just like politicians now.. they report and tell you what they think you want to hear.....

You truly need to get a life. Your tinfoil hat is much too tight.
I personally believe his tin foil hat may just be appropriate! From all the other BS going on in this country by 3 letter agencies and such, nothing would surprise me. But then, I do not believe that either Oswald or Ray acted alone! I may be wrong but....I could be right!

It was the second day at my new job...a job I still have. It was odd being around people I didn't know in an unfamiliar place. I've since had four kids, two of which are in college. My oldest's due date was the one year anniversary but she waited a few days after.

I don't remember what happened that day because the official government/mass media narrative is not believable. Instead I can only speculate.
Interestingly, on another forum the head honcho made it clear that comments like this would get you banned forever. So a bunch of lowlifes started posting off thread comments.

No matter where you go there are bound to be a few (add your own description).

In May 2001, I stayed at the Marriott World Trade Center (World Trade Center 3) for several days while participating in company meetings. During my stay I rode the elevator up to the observation deck on top of one of the Towers. I still think about what might have happened to me and my colleagues had the meetings been held during the the week of September 11 when the towers came down, destroying the hotel.

A friend of mine lost his brother in the attack. He was an Electrician working on elevator wiring when the plane hit. Another friend was working in an office from the WTC and was out doing a bridge inspection when the attack happened
