Anyone see the episode of Top Shot on History Channel recently that featured Security Sixes in a couple of the challenges? I don't really care too much for the show, but I seem to get sucked in to watching it almost every week....

At any rate though, it's nice to see one of the Six series guns get some attention. They could've just as easily used a S&W or Colt, so the Ruger was a nice touch.

I have it recorded on my DirectTV, I'll check it out tonight.

I saw the preview where the guys are hanging upside shooting revolvers but it's hard to see what it is, this may have been the Security Six?

I would be a little more excited if it were a Service or Speed six, since I have serious fixed-sight Ruger tunnel vision  But as an owner of 1 Security Six I am still excited.

I like that show, more entertaining than most. The different "arms" they use and the "trick shots" they have them do is always interesting.

Yup, the gun were the shooter is hanging upside down is the Security Six.

I did notice they were allowed to shoot single action while upside down. All of the other scenarios with the Ruger required DAO.

I watched it. Definately cool seeing them using the Security Sixes. I think it's a cool show but I agree the drama is a little much.

I enjoy watching them shoot, but the "reality TV" portions of drama are completely obnoxious. I would much rather just see people shoot their best, and nothing else. I don't have time for those soap operas. Fortunately, we have a DVR and I can skip over those sections when needed.

I could really go for a gunsmithing, shooting, and shooting techniques channel on tv. We have somewhere in the area of 300 channels, and there is rarely much worth watching.

I think it's awesome that the security six made it in, though. I haven't seen the episode, but that much is good. I keep having dreams that if enough things like this will happen, Ruger will bring back some of the models that I want so badly.

Looks like, from the promo for next week, they'll be using 10/22s.

Hahaha they say "The Ruger .357 is a revolver that values function over form to get the job done"

What are they saying, they think it's ugly?!?

I think the Security,Service and Speed Six are some of the neatest looking firearms I have ever seen......they have that basic, manly "meat and potatoes" service revolver look.
