Took my new 380 to the range to break it in. Found that it was consistently shooting to the left about 4 in. at 7 yards. Loosened the rear sight screw and drove the sight to the right to almost the dovetail limit. The gun still hit to the left slightly. In looking at the FRONT sight, it appears to be off to the right a bit. I tried to center it with the same hammer and punch but it is a stiff sucker. Has anyone else experienced an off center front sight from the factory? If so, how to adjust? Sight pusher?

Thanks peach, I beat it pretty good. Didn't move at all. Maybe just not hard enough!! I'm afraid that I'll screw up the slide!!

Thanks Blume...
I agree with your assesment...only problem, I am shooting from a stable rest. Always try to remove such variables when sighting in a pistol.

I too had a problem with mine shooting left. I too was shooting from a stable rest and my trigger finger was on the 'fleshy' part of the first digit. Moved the sight to the right a bit and cured the problem.

Some days I'm not the brightest bulb on the tree... a couple years ago I was at my gun club pistol range and I had three different semi-autos I was shooting and they all were hitting left and I actually tried to move the sights... just how stupid is that? I bought some name brand sight pusher from a guy here in town and can't get it to move the front sight on my pistols... I think they do this to me intentionally...
