The ejector of the Ruger Security-9

I recently purchased a Ruger Security-9. I really like it, so I decided to field strip it; however, I noticed that the ejector isn't perfectly vertical—the tip seems to be tilted slightly to the left. Is this intentional as part of the design? I checked my other pistol—a Ruger SR-22—and its ejector is perfectly straight. Thanks。

How do you want to fix it ? send back to Ruger ?

I am of the old adage of "if it ain't broke , don't fix it." Does the pistol fire and eject the fired casings?
Just checked my Security 380 and the ejector is canted slightly toward the left side.and works just fine.

I already saw a picture which someone posted, this picture shows it should be straight. my gun already was sent back to Ruger by the gun shop I bought .

Fix what? My pistol works just fine.

Keep us posted if Ruger does anything to your pistol.

I’ll be getting my gun within a week, but what worries me is this: since it’s already misaligned, most likely this will happened again. My gun dealer told me that Ruger will attempt to fix it up to three times; after that, they’ll replace it with a brand-new one. If it’s still not right even then, he suggested I just swap it for a different model gun.

I had the same issue. I ordered a new one and saw it was straight. As mentioned above I simply bent it back straight. It was having issues and now it runs perfectly!

I’m not sure how you managed to straighten it out. I gave it a try myself, but it’s made of really hard steel. Besides, several people have told me that it’s actually supposed to be slightly bent to the left right from the factory. Anyway, my gun is being shipped back to me in a few days, so I’ll just wait and see then.

Ruger sent my gun back , they replaced barrel, slide assembly and function fired 20 round without maffuction, didn't mention the " ejector bent",
now I belived it is supposed.
