Way back in the 60's, if I recall correctly, a friend was caught (excessive) speeding and put in the local lock-up pending his parents coming in to bail him out. They left him there for the weekend... Don't remember all the details, but I sure remembered not to get caught doing that level of speed on a weekend fer sure.

Sadly, as far as I can tell (from the news) the only one of these they've actually caught was the guy from Jamaica who was threatening William Webster and his wife a year or two back.
