I have a Nikon Force XR 2x20 on the way for my 41 mag SBH... I'm pretty sure the #4 rings that came with my gun are too short for the eye piece of the scope to clear. I know #6's will work,,, just wondering what y'all are using?

That's what I was thinking... thanks!
A few years back I had a 41 Bisley Hunter for a while and I had to crank down the rear sight for the supplied medium height rings to work with the scope I had. Ruger traded me a set of x-high rings for the mediums which aleviated the problem, but I didn't care for the balance of the rig with the scope on the barrel so it eventually went down the road.

Called Ruger today and they're sending me a set of #5 high rings,,, great customer service!!
