Are the grips for the current SBH, 7 1/2", interchangeable with the old (3 screw) design?
I did not think that they would be due to the internal lock, but then I see that the Ruger site does not indicate that there is an internal lock.
Looking for new grips for my old model and do not want to order wrong ones

I own several NM SBH`s and none have a lock. As far as I know they never put a lock in the SBH. The grip fit ,I cant tell you about.

Generally, the Super Blackhawk grip frame hasn't changed for decades. If it has the square backed trigger guard, most grip panels will interchange.
Now, occasionally, due to many years differences, there may be SLIGHT differences in clean fitting. (Grips or the frame can be a little proud in spots.)
