Nice find, still have not come across one of them in all these years ( at least fairly priced or with a gun in it thats worthwhile),passed on a few "reblued" or doctored guns over the years, even if they had the 'salt cod' box, Laura always said NO thanks.........
Missed the salt cod box for #0035 some time back, lady down in Akron,Ohio threw it out, after she cashed the gun in for a $100 food voucher in a gun buy back program... :(

Nice box.....did ya get the early gun too....5604 came in a Cod box and was shipped to a gentleman in TX....the only one I ever had the opportunity to purchase so I did :lol: :lol: :lol: everyone needs at least one in a collection.....RR.

Well I forgot about the one I "TRIED" to buy from Dale the first year I went to T town.....for only 125 lbs he sure is a "TOUGH NEGOTIATOR".....maybe that isn't "oxygen" in his tank :roll: :roll: :roll: several years later I finally learned a trick to making a deal with him......just stand on that plastic line until he sees it your way :lol: :lol: :lol: only worked ONCE.....RR.

Excellent find there Rick! It's one of those things I've always lusted after. I recall one on sleezbay MANY years ago. It was offered as a wooden box with cleaning equipment, with the description all about the cleaning stuff. As the bidding & questions happened, the seller finally posted a response about how many people were MUCH more interested in the box & not the cleaning gear. As I recall, JD was the winning bidder. (Drats!)
