Does anybody here have any experience with the Smith 1911 SC. I'm very interested in one and wonder how it would compare with a Colt. The SC is the commander size with lightweight frame. Thanks!

Its lighter than a Colt... but otherwise just as reliable. I have a PD 5". Its great for carry, since its a full 10 ounces lighter than an iron frame. I don't shoot it much since the recoil is pretty snappy and I have a lot of other guns. I don't own a Colt for comparison.
