I always forget about the Indian guns, but have seen several for sale here in CA (for a lot of $$$). They were 4" blue fixed sight, in .38-200 or S&W "Super Police" or .380 Rim, whichever you please.

The Ruger Indian guns ( 380 Rim) also came in 2 3/4.. Just an FYI

Somebody REALLY wanted that one! Even in a wrong box.

Good to see the Six Series finally getting the love they deserve.

Yes, it takes two. I wanted/needed it to complete the India portion of my Six collection...they simply don't come around very often. Thank you Golferboy.

Ron,

If memory serves, you have the holsters to compliment the 2 gun the package....great stuff for a Six collector.

Great Snag IMO,,on a Rare gun! The 4" guns N.I.B will usually bring that amount +.
Those snub barrels N.I.B. don't pop up that often.
Glad you got her,,, :)

Many thanks to RUGER! Received today the most detailed letter I've ever had.

This gun was:

Produced February 1974.

Shipped February 1974 to S. S. Kresge Co. in Lawrence, KS.

At some point returned to Ruger.

Re-shipped August 1985 to Rody's Gun Shop in Newport, N.H. as a "second".

"Please note that the "S" is not part of the serial number."

I have 150-99139S NIB.

Is it a low back too?
Reason I ask is I have a 4-inch Speed Six 150-99378 ( no "S" ) that is the new grip frame.

Is yours 4 inch or 2.75 inch? Security or Speed or Service Six?
