I just picked up one of these tools, for disassembly of a Ruger SA revolver. I’m no gunsmith, and don’t like disassembling my Rugers and I need needle nose pliers as my fingers and hands are too big. Having a small punch shoot across the room, or a little screw driver fly out, is not my idea of fun. This little tool makes it extremely easy to disassemble and reassemble the spring. This tool has been out for a while I guess, but I just found it, and I’m sure there’s others that would really love this little item. Go to the RW Gripframes sight and watch the short video. Just a suggestion but when disassembling things that can "fly across the room" insert everything in a clear dry cleaners bag. If something does go "sprong" you can easily find it.

+1 for the Ronnie Wells 'third hand' tool.... I have one and it's a BIG HELP for new model guns...price is GOOD.
