I want to change the syn. stock on a new mini tactical to a wooden stock. I've seen wood stocks with the hand guard on top front. Would this wooden hand guard fit on a new mini or are for older mini 14's? Thanks

I wish I had an answer for you,, but not too many folks swap around stocks on the Mini's from what I've seen. Even here,,, they are not often discussed.
However,,, I have seen Mini-14 stocks, original wooden factory ones sell very reasonably, so if you experiment, and it doesn't work, you won't be out much, and I'm sure you could sell it for close to what you gave.
Give it a try & report back,, I'm curious now.

I like the wooden furniture, but my syn stock shoots so well, hate to mess with it
