Ruger service A+!

I recently bought a 10.5 SS Super BH .44 On gunbroker. Bidding started @ 350.00. I bought it 450.00 new is over 600.00. When I picked it up at LGS,my FFL dealer , the ejection rod, spring , cover was missing! Called the seller. He said he knew nothing about it. It was in an estate sale he was overseeing. I got RMA. From Ruger. $30.00 Fedex to ship April 7. April 21 UPS brought it to me fully repaired. No charge. They picked up overnight delivery too! Previous owner had filled in screw hole with bondo. I thought at first it had a broken screw. Ruger fixed it free. Including parts. Guess I'm a Ruger fan for life.

And it shoots great! Strong wind beat me up today. Tomorrow I will try 23 grs IMR 4227. Today was 24 gr H110.

I'm sure many of us have stories like that. I bought a mini14 that was a mess from a pawnshop, sent it to Ruger with a note of what I wanted fixing. I included my phone number to pay for the repairs. It was back within a week with new parts including the stock! All at no charge. I look for the broken Rugers now
