I picked-up a used Security Six last week and shot it Tuesday. Although the rear sights are fairly centered, I noticed the wind adjustment screw kind of sticks out past the right side a little bit. And if I adjust the rear blade towards the right side, it sticks out even more.

Is this normal? Or did someone disassemble the rear and put it back together wrong?

The opposite side looks like its missing a part?

Just checking Numrich's schematic, it doesn't look like anything is missing?

And looking at photos of other SS, this may not even be the correct sight? Maybe an aftermarket Millett?

Thanks

Screws on all mine sit pretty flush.
That first pic looks like the wrong screw or even has a washer under it. ( ?? )

Thanks. I’ll probably just leave it alone. Based on what the factory rear looks like, the one I have seems to be a better sight picture for my old eyes.

As noted,, that's not a factory rear sight assy. The screw out so far is usually due to a slight misalignment of the gun and the adjustable rear blade or portion corrects that. If it works for you, I don't see a problem. Well, maybe add a little fingernail polish to assist in it not backing out any further.
