Got this email from Mike Fifer CEO of Ruger.
Dear Mr. Rogers,

The Redhawk is on a temporary hiatus as we move production lines around to
increase
capacity. We plan to resume production late in the first quarter.

Best regards,
Mike

Good news, I'v been wanting a Redhawk 4" in .45 Colt, hopefully they will run some and not all .44 REM.

The rumors were already put to rest in another thread, it's just that some refused to believe it.

DPris, those of us who actually understand the business knew it wasn't a dead model. I recall speaking with Mr. Fifer and some of the discussion was a full time dedicated Redhawk line.

I've been on this forum for 10 years, passing on bits & pieces about Ruger (company & products) gained from interactions with the CEO, the official company PR man, the company's product manager, and personal product experience.

I've said for how many days now Fifer & the others in a position to know say the Redhawk's on stand-by till the new facility's on line?

People continue to panic & refuse to believe.

Then a poster (and no offense whatever to GunHawk intended) with two posts and less than a month on lists an email from Fifer saying what I & others have been saying for weeks, and "Well, this puts the rumors to rest."

Geeze.
Denis

RedHawk is a fine revolver and a success I never doubted Ruger, Makes absolutely no sense to terminate such a fine and desirable gun. I knew that from the git go. ps

Mike, Thank you. I do like to hear positive info. Thanks, Jerry

Thanks for good word. And to Denis also (I was already relieved of my Redhawk panic by his earlier posts).
