I think you did great. I have one and its a real good shooting gun feeds anything I put in it .

Also, it's in pretty good condition. It's one of the later ones with the textured composite grip. Although it's not something I would normally get as there are many fine choices out there for a service pistol, I got it because it would be my steel-cased ammo gun. I have read the Ruger P series would handle the cheap Russian ammo just fine.
