a little on the "unsure" side, whether a Super Blackhawk 44 mag, or a NM 44 special?? could be a variety of things, but "average" would tell us that $400 in todays world is a fair price, out the door?? asking price?? box, case, paper work?? and on and on.........do you want one? then by all means, if you like it and can afford it, then buy it.....often things are a "spur of the moment" once in a blue moon thing.........................

The 6.5" throws me is it a 44 Mag. Are you sure it isn't a 7.5"? Does it have a square back trigger guard? Sounds like a deal to me.
IMO, buy it, they only go up in price.
