Nice looking set of hardware! I see you changed the MC's grips? Can I ask why---I think I know!
Knovak makes as adjustable sight that will fit the Ruger MC . Contact Titus at Knovak and he will set you up with proper model number.
I have a Mod1754 and I ordered the AS sight because my fixed sight shots 6" low at 25 yards. AS will fix that!

Thanks. I changed the grips because these grips just feel better to me. I looked at the Novak adjustable sights you are speaking of and I like them way better than the factory adjustable sights. Thanks for the tip, I will keep them in mind.

The wooden grips on my Mod 1754 MC , with full power 357 loads, pounded the joint at the base of my thumb Pretty bad so i am going to try the rubber finger groove GP100 grips and see how they feel! I have several take off grips like you are using but they feel too square to my hand so I will try the finger groove first and if that does not work to protect my hand I will go back and try the grips like you are using. My gun , even though new and unfired, is a very early model made in December before the MC's were introduced in January so maybe the newer 1754's addressed the low shooting problem and changed the front sight . Now most run reviews say their test 1754 shoots high with 158 357 loads.

I also have these Hogue grips like in this picture.(not my gun) they are actually more comfortable than the ones I have on it, just not as Purdy in my opinion.

I had to chuckle a bit at your questions.
Yes,, I do own & use a T/C Contender for deer hunting. It became my handgun of choice long ago, after I screwed up using my Redhawk on a deer. (Long story,) Back in the mid 1980's.
When computer stuff came along,, I used the handle "contender" as at the time,, not many good names were available to me, and I happened to be fooling with my Contender when I was registering.
The title of Ruger Guru was a honorary title given to me by "Flatgate",, due to how often I'd offer advice & knowledge to others. I was one of several he bestowed that little thing to their profile. So, now,, it's a very special reminder of Carl & our friendship.

I have the same grips , but with the finger grooves on mine now and they feel good but don't look as nice. I like the looks of the wood grips but like the feel of the finger groove rubber ones. Too bad they do not make the finger groove grips with the nice wood insert.
