Just picked up a 22/45. Ordered a mounting plate from armadyne for holosun 507c. Will post pics once mount arrives. Pretty excited to take it out

I bought the same gun this week. $348. The trigger is heavy so I bought a Volquartsen accurizing kit for it $137 and ordered a Viridian RFX 25 Green Dot $187. I hope the dot sight won't be mounted too high.

I paid 320 for mine. No tax etc. couldn't pass it up

No words of wisdom......... but my Mark IV Hunter is just about my favorite plinking gun that I own.

When installing the VQ.., You will want a small articulating vise like this hobby vise from Harbor Freight for $25.
It is very very tricky#1. #2.. We are not kids like the boy in VQ’s installation video is. #3.., VQ used a professional video company to make that video and there was much editing to make it look easy.
#4.. Do NOT put your gun parts back together dry like that!! Use grease in every pivot hole and joint.
Coat bolt catch plate to sheet metal body frame as well as same with safety.
GREASE safety detent and TINY plunger or you WILL lose it in installation process.

Optic plate arrived. Removed the aluminum rail. I kind of don't like the ugly without the rail with an exposed hole in the upper...Will be buying a pic rail mount from holosun.

Jazzed mine up a bit for steel plates. For some reason had frustration installing the trigger kit. Put it down, drank a couple bourbons, went back to it later and it went in like a hot knife through butter. Think I made a thread on it. Adjusted the reset and it flies through the plates.

I had the same issue with the kit. Tried to follow the instructions to the letter but I had to remove everything and start over. The second attempt was much easier now that I was familiar with the parts and it was properly installed in less than half the time. I went with the Competition Kit. It made a huge improvement.
