Ruger flat top 44 mag question

I am looking at one on GB. My concern is the back of the cylinder is completely bright( no blue) between three of the rachetts and complete blue between the other three. Photos are good but not good enough to tell the cause. Any chance it came that way? Got to be careful as bubba is everywhere. Thanks

Welcome to the Forum!
It's hard to determine a reason, but it just may be the pictures. Lighting is a tricky thing, and can make a gun look great or just plain wrong.
If you provide a link to the auction, maybe some of us can look & give you better info.

I see no probable reason it would be the way you described it.
