Ruger Customer Service A++ from me

Purchased a new Redhawk .44 on GunBroker. When it arrived far away at my FFL, the hard plastic factory case did not keep the revolver from shifting around during shipping. The rear sight blade was snapped off and you could see the impact mark inside the case. A small piece of foam would have prevented that... But... a call to Ruger and 4 days later I had a new replacement sight blade. Not the easiest thing to replace.. but they took care of my problem without question and with apologies for my having to wait for a part. I am completely satisfied with Ruger's Customer Service.

Welcome to the Forum!
As you have found,,, Ruger does stand behind their product. Generally the boxes they use don't have issues,,, but sometimes you get gorillas in shipping departments who enjoy slinging stuff around. When that happens,,, things get broken.

Ruger Customer Service has a goal/target of 24 hour turnaround from the time they receive a complaint. They can't always hit that, but they do most often times. They have a great Customer Service Team and that department is buzzing to respond quickly to customers.

Great that you got it repaired. Awfully nice because Ruger did not ship that to you. That shows just how good they are. Good company. They could have balked and said it was a dealers fault.

AGREE: Ruger was under no obligation at all to replace or ship the blade
The fact they DID shows what kind of company they are

Good on them & one reason most of us have lots of Rugers :D

Welcome to the forum. I did travel nursing for awhile, and Sitka was one place I considered going, but never got there. Ruger sent me some taller sights free for two SBH that shot high if I remember correctly.
