BB45C is spot on. I never worry about serious competition, just having fun. To visit with other collectors, seeing odd, old or rare specimens of Rugers, sipping a little of Tennessee's finest, & maybe finding an addition to my bunch of stuff is what it's truly about.

Duh, of course you're right. It really is about the camaraderie and to educate the non Ruger people out there. However, a good display makes teaching much easier. After ruminating on it a while, I realized that I did not say what I meant.

Be advised that I am having a bit of fun and am putting something in my display that is kinda geared towards the forum members here (especially when we talk about cowboy movies).
