What is it exactly. It says 22 blanks on the receiver. It looks like it has some 10/22 parts. I really like the finish but don't know how durable it is...

It appeasr to be a 10/22 with a different barrel, which shoots arrows using singly-loaded .22 blanks.

Pretty clear description -- it is built using a Ruger 10/22 receiver and a commercially-available kit that turns it in to an arrow launcher using .22 blanks for power. Still classed as a firearm, so illegal in most states for archery seasons.

The arrow gun conversions came out a few years back. Interesting concept but it just doesn't fill any empty niche. All gimmick. It's still a firearm by definition - projectile powered by an explosion - so that removes it from archery season hunting. Pass. Oh but wait, it's "custom".

You'd have to use silver tipped arrows.

And I'm pretty sure it would not work on Zombies and so there is no real market for it.
