Ruger Add From 1956

I have most all of the old Ruger Adds. 1949 to 1960. Here is one from 1956 I like alot.

As do I. My original copy of Know Your Ruger Single Actions is ragged out, so I bought a new one. I took a lot of the ads from that book, put them in picture frames, and they are hanging throughout my house.

I have a old American Rifleman magazine with that add and some showing the prototype RSS and then The Dope Bag part of why Ruger was being LATE getting the RSS to the public. Kinda neat but would sell

From the looks of that bear, the guy holding the gun had better get to filing off that front sight, pronto. Otherwise that things gonna hurt when the bear shoves it up his arse! Nice add, brings back a simpler time when marketing and ad messaging was more straight forward and honest and the illustration is really cool. Thanks for sharing this.
