Ruger Max 9 red dot cover plate

Ruger Max 9 catalog number 3515 has a Ruger proprietary red dot installed.
Does anyone know if a cover plate with two screws is provided with the pistol in case the owner chooses to remove the red dot sight?
Please provide the answer if you know. I am contemplating a purchase but would like to have the option of removing their unit.
