In theory yes.
In actual practice...yes, no, maybe..depending on the details.
A lot of folks say that it's an easy swap, but me personally....I've had to fit every medium frame SA-cylinder that I've ever bought to whatever gun I bought it for.
Perhaps I'm not as lucky as some folks, or perhaps it's that I'm more picky than most....dunno. Either way though, too long is much easier to deal with than too short, so measure carefully before plunking down your money.
