Ruger #3 30/40 Krag

I just took my wife on a Antelope hunt in wyoming ,she used my, now
Her #3 in 30/40 to take a couple of does.
My question is where do I find an original forend? The one on the gun is a alexander henry style sans checkering. Nice looking but not original.
And how about a set of ruger bases? Weavers are on this one.
Third question how collectable is the 30/40? I have access to a 270 barrel and

I love my 30/40 #3. Got an old Hodgon manual that lists loads for strong actions and the 30/40 can keep up with a 308.

Check eBay for a forend. They show up occasionally.

Don't know where you can find Ruger bases. I wish I could find some myself.
