Ruger mini 30

I had a chance to buy a mini 30 with a sampson folding stock .The guy had a bunch of real ak47 mags with it said they would work in it is this true ? I missed thst one but saw another 583 series mini 30 thats supose to be better .

No, un-modified AK mags will not latch/work in a Mini 30.

The GENERALLY ACCEPTED RULE w/ Mini-14’s (any/all calibers) is FACTORY MAGAZINE ONLY.

That is if you like to just have it shoot.
I guess if you like clearing jambs for whatever reason,,, use what floats your boat…

No, AK mags will not work in a Mini-30, they won't even fit. The seller should have known that, and probably did. Be glad you missed it, because a guy like that will tell you whatever he thinks you want to hear.
