Ruger #1 Rebarrel question

Yup, it can be done. I've got one at the 'smith now making a 1H style 357 Maximum out of a used 1V No 1. Got another 1A in 30-06 that may go to the same smith to be made into a .22 LR.

If you are looking to adopt a middle age man as an addition to the family...

I can even fill out the papers.
 
If you buy good used No 1's, you save enough to do barrel jobs and still be below new gun prices.

Have a #1A in .30-06 that was intended to become a .300 H&H but Ruger took care of that need themselves so it'll become a .22lr soon hopefully. PLEASE post of info on this max once it's back! You got me thinking now! :)
