We still have the set-it-and-forget-it oven.
It worked extremely well and everything prepared in it was delicious.

But it took up too much counter space so it's not been out of the storage shed for years.

I remember an ad for the Ford Maverick Icar) showing how easy it was to work on. They had a young lady with a short skirt and a tight top replace the grill on the add. The voice asked, "A you never worked on a grill before?" And the little blonde says Oh No I always work the bar.

My Dad had one he liked for ice fishing.

I bought all of my kids one, instead of the kiddie sets that always tangled. Those pocket fishermen made my life easier.

I had to chuckle at this posting. Many many years ago,, a buddy & I created a little saying;

We'd see an attractive girl,, and we'd say; " There she is, a Ronco Tease-omatic! She squeezes, she teases, but she never pleases!"

I have one of these. Bought it years ago, loved it, and when I moved, my son kept it. Bought another and am still using it.

Ron Popeil was a marketing genius. I knew a lot of people who kept a pocket fisherman in their vehicle. They somewhat worked and kept people amused

And, I got a Mr. Microphone for Christmas one year, but thought it was totally lame, so I traded it for a couple of Cheap Trick albums to some chump at school.

I wanted to get the pocket lariat, but then realize some guy with long hair, a huge wooden hammer and watermelons were selling those... It was so simple even an idiot could use it so I would be a natural!

I worked in a very large machine shop and one of the guys used this stuff for years. All summer long it would slowly drip down his forehead.

Every now and then you will see one of those rotisserie cooking ovens in Goodwill or some other thrift store.

For a lot of years we made many, many pounds of deer jerky in a Ronco dehydrator.

After we purchased a more modern newer style, with a builtin fan that works much faster, we retired the still working Ronco and it now resides in the storage shed.

^^^ I still have one of those Ronco dehydrators with the original box. If I ever get another deer I'll use it again.

Wife has a couple of the slow dehydrators I believe we got at garage sales (without the boxes) so they might be a Ronco product. She uses her's for dehydrating herbs, that she then grinds up into powder to put into capsules, for the medicinal quality that the herb provides.

I used one of the dehydrator quite a bit. Sitting it on the cast iron radiator really sped things up.
