Right place at the right time

Today I stopped by a local gun store to see if they had any 380 APC ammo. No one else I had contacted did so this was a last resort. Walked in and there were three customers spread out around the store maintaining their 6 feet distances. The counterman ask what he could do for me. I said "Do you have any 380 ammo?" He turned and looked at one of the customers at the counter. That gentleman said "I JUST got the last three boxes he has. Tell you what; I let you have one of them." So I thanked him VERY MUCH, paid for them, and left. Sometimes being at the right place at the right time actually works for you.
I might add that now that I have ammo the only range nearby is closed till the virus is contained.

This "shortage" is very regional imho. I was at our local Farm Co-Op this morning to pickup a few things, and they had their usual aisle full of popular calibers/gauges (and not just range ammo), including .380, 9mm, .223, .22lr&wmr, .308, .45acp, and others. Ain't no shortage in these parts.
