I nwant to get back into rifle shooting.I think a 22 is a good cheap way to reestablish my rifle shooting skills.I have narrowed my choices down to k77/22 vb2, 10/22t or the CZ 455.I would appreciate any feelback or thought.
Thanks
My personal preference would be one of the bolt actions for serious target use. All you named are good so in the end it will be your choice anyway. If possible try each out before settling on one.
If you are thinking of "position" shooting, a.k.a. high power rifle, the 10/22 will be: 1) Easier (especially if you put on a set of Tech Sights) 2) Less expensive for initial purchase 3) More like the matches you will find.
High Power matches use the bolt guns only in "Open" category, which is really tough to break into as a beginner.
You might also look into the Appleseed shoots.
They are a whole lot of fun and excellent practice.
P.S. If you do go with the 10/22, be sure to get two or three spare magazines. For the ten shot strings, which require a reload, you can go with an eight and two or, the one I prefer, two sets of five.
