I've been looking at a replacement for my well used 77/22 boat paddle. It seems the RPR #8401 would be a good candidate. The question I have relates to the '30 MOA' scope base rail. I have no need for '30 MOA' scope mounting so what are the options? Maybe a decent grade scope has that much adjustment w/o problems but I'd rather stay closer to the center of the adjustment range.

The 30MOA rail will work just fine. I use it on mine and it zeros just fine at 50 yards.
