I had to return a Howa 1500 6.5Grendel for warranty repair. Legasy Arms sent me a return FedEx Label. I live in rural Ark but was going to Hot Springs anyways. Long story short, unless you have a return label you cannot ship a firearm through FedEx without holding a FFL. I guess real moral of this story is, shoodn’t have bought a Howa anyways

You can ship a rifle through the Post Office. You might want to google the information, print it out and take it to the PO when you go to mail it.

There's nothing wrong with Howa's at all. Rifle nuts like them, pretty well. Legacy Arms took care of you. Anything that's built by a human can have an issue. I've done a fair amount of business with Legacy several years back and was extremely happy with their performance. There are people on this forum that bad mouth Rugers. I don't know any brand or item that someone doesn't bad mouth, whether it's from ignorance or by chance. Can happen to a brand new vehicle and I suspect it happens more often with them.

Fed X a culprit. You beef is with them.

Howa will likely take very good care of you.
