Request for prayers continue; surgery scheduled

My partial bowel block continues and surgery is planned for 11/16. The surgeons plan to repair and revise my current ileostomy and likely relocate the stoma. I have had the current stoma since loosing my colon in the military in '63 and it has served me well, but now the small bowel has grown into the abdominal wall and requires a major revision. The long wait for the surgery date is for the "A-Team" of surgeons and PAs to have a time that all can be available together.
The blockage is not a problem right now, as it is positional. It blocks off when I sit, but clears when I lie down. I am on a mostly liquid diet and would love a hamburger, but it is not to be now.
I request your continuing prayers and good wishes. I know I am in God's hands. Thank each and every one of you. Jim

Prayers sent. Good luck. Be sure to deep breathe 5 times every hour while awake, after surgery. It keeps the lungs clear and open (prevents pneumonia), and pumps the lymph system ( the immune system).
